THE COVER: [Artist STEVE DOHANOS] Goodness, the vehicles of Mrs. Stryker and Mrs. Bangs have entered into a collision. If the operators weren't trying to have such a neat, clean-cut smack, however did they manage it? Perhaps each saw the other coming, each stopped, then came, confident that the other was graciously waiting -- whereupon, ker-wham! Or did they emerge with their eyes shut? Oh, it was just one of those things; so the ladies shouldn't berate each other, but instead blame this on fate, agreeing that if either one had put on her lipstick thirty seconds faster, they would not have kerwhammed. Later, if their husbands don't find this logical, they can be reminded that men bend cars, too, even without lipstick. The bill for damages goes to STEVE DOHANOS. For not putting stop signs on the driveways.
